The curtain may have fallen on the 2025 cycling season, but some of the sport’s biggest names aren’t quite ready to put their bikes away. On Sunday, 23 November, the streets of the Principality will once again host BeKING Monaco, an off-season criterium that attracts world champions, Tour winners, and local favourites in equal measure.
Leading the charge this year will be Tadej Pogacar, fresh from one of the most dominant campaigns in modern cycling. The Slovenian superstar, who conquered three Monuments, the Tour de France, and both European and World titles in 2025, will line up just a short ride from his Monaco home. He’ll be joined by an impressive cast including Jonathan Milan (Lidl–Trek), Giulio Ciccone (Lidl–Trek), Davide Formolo (Movistar Team), Tim Wellens (UAE Team Emirates – XRG), Steven Kruijswijk (Team Visma | Lease a Bike), and Michael Matthews (Team Jayco AlUla). Local riders Victor Langellotti and Antoine Berlin will also feature, giving Monegasque fans plenty to cheer for.
Ferrand-Prévot leads powerhouse women’s fieldThe women’s race promises to be just as competitive. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, the reigning Tour de France Femmes champion, will headline the event, although she is far from the only recognisable name in action. The French sporting icon will face stiff competition as she takes on fellow stars Lorena Wiebes, Anna van der Breggen, Kasia Niewiadoma, and Urska Zigart. They’ll be joined by Italian track medallists Vittoria Guazzini and Chiara Consonni, adding even more depth to an already world-class field.
Ferrand-Prevot made history with her Maillot Jaune win at the 2025 Tour de France Femmes earlier this year
A Monaco tradition with a purposeFounded in 2021 by Italian rider Matteo Trentin, BeKING Monaco has quickly grown into one of cycling’s most glamorous off-season fixtures. The event blends elite racing with community activities, raising awareness and funds for charitable causes while offering fans a final glimpse of their heroes before winter sets in.
This year’s edition looks set to deliver another spectacular showcase of skill, speed, and showmanship — all against the glittering backdrop of Monte Carlo.
