The official music video for “Away”, Cyprus’ entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025, has been filmed.
CyBC has revealed on social media that the official music video for the Cypriot entry for Junior Eurovision 2025 has been filmed. The song that Rafaella and Christos will perform in Tbilisi is called “Away”; filming for the music video has taken place at the CyBC studios in Nicosia.
Rafaella Panteli and Christos Georgiou will represent Cyprus at Junior Eurovision 2025. Rafaella and Christos were selected from 70 singers through an audition process. Their song “Away”, was written and composed by Christopher Wortley, Hannah Brine, Peter Barringer, Greig Watts, Paul Drew, and Andy Lys. A separate selection was used for the song, with 20 songs submitted to CyBC.
Cyprus returned to Junior Eurovision last year, after last participating in 2017. Maria Pissarides represented Cyprus in Madrid with “Crystal Waters”. She finished 13th with 60 points.

Cyprus participated in the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003, where they were represented by Theodora Rafti. She finished 14th with just 16 points. The country’s best result came in 2004, when Marios Tofi finished 8th with the song “Oniera”, scoring a total of 61 points. In 2008, Cyprus hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. On home soil, they were represented by Elena Mannouri & Charis Savva. They finished 10th with 46 points.
