Emmerdale viewers are predicting a heart-wrenching departure for April Windsor, 11 years after she first graced the Dales.
April (Amelia Flanagan) has certainly had her fair share of drama in recent months. Currently, she’s entangled in a perilous world of exploitation, crime and drug dealing, alongside Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle).
Initially, it was only Dylan who was working for the menacing Ray (Joe Absolom). However, before long, April was drawn into the mix and began doing jobs for Ray when he realised she could be of use.
In a shocking turn of events, it was unveiled that Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) wasn’t just overseeing the entire operation but was also Ray’s adoptive mum.

The plot took a horrifying twist this week when Ray and Celia coerced April into meeting one of their clients, Callum (Max Lohan), who paid them in return for sex with the young girl, reports the Daily Star.
After consuming an excessive amount of alcohol, April decided she couldn’t go through with it. But when the predatory Callum wouldn’t take no for an answer, he tried to force himself on April.
She ended up killing Callum
Fighting for her life, a panicked April struck Callum over the head with a vodka bottle, seemingly killing him. A distraught April informed Ray and Celia about the incident, and Celia instructed Ray to get rid of the body.
Convinced there’s no way out after taking a life, April suggested turning herself into the police, but Ray responded with a chilling threat, brandishing a gun to intimidate her.
With secrets rarely staying hidden in the world of soaps, fans are speculating that April could be facing a dramatic exit via a shocking prison twist.

On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one viewer speculated: “If the truth comes out about April killing that guy surely she’ll be sent to prison? Can’t see how she’ll get away with it eventually.” Another fan echoed this sentiment, saying: “I thought this as well. Poor April.”
A third chimed in: “Probably get sent away for a couple of months like Belle and then come back!” referring to when teen Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) was sentenced to a few months in youth custody in 2014 after being found guilty of manslaughter.
