Scots music legend Lewis Capaldi made an unexpected and heartwarming appearance on stage on Monday evening (November 3), joining up-and-coming American singer Role Model during his performance at London’s Eventim Apollo as part of his ‘No Place Like Tour’ tour.
Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, is known for bringing out special guests to play ‘Sally’ during his viral TikTok hit Sally, When the Wine Runs Out. Previous appearances have included major stars such as actress Kate Hudson, British singer Charli XCX and pop icon Olivia Rodrigo and now, Lewis Capaldi has joined that star-studded lineup.
The 29-year-old singer took to the stage with a swagger in his step and a beer bottle in hand, sending the audience into a frenzy of screams and cheers.
As Role Model sang, Lewis danced across the whole stage before the pair shared a warm hug, with Capaldi waving goodbye to the adoring audience as the song ended.
Videos of the wholesome moment have since gone viral on social media, particularly on TikTok, as fans could not get over seeing the beloved Scots singer dancing with such confidence.

Another user echoed this statement, penning: “Lewis deserves the absolute world, this makes me so happy. He’s so confident now, I could CRY.”
A third simply stated: “Lewis Capaldi has got moves. Love the dancing with the beer bottle, confident king.”
This comes following the stars hilarious response to a troll on X, formally known as Twitter. Lewis was announced as the headline act for Latitude Festival 2026 in Suffolk yesterday, but not everyone was too impressed.
Lewis will headline the festival on the Sunday evening, with Dave Byrne and Teddy Swims taking the headline spots respectively on Friday and Saturday night.
The headline announcement was met with some backlash, with some customers calling the lineup announcement a ‘daylight robbery.’

While another user echoed this statement, as they fumed: “£300 for these headliners is daylight robbery. By far the worst lineup I’ve seen in latitude history.”
Despite the criticism from trolls, Lewis seemed unfazed by the backlash from ticket holders – even reaching out to one salty user.
The user hit out at Latitude Festival and Lewis as they wrote: “I want a refund, Lewis f**king Capaldi!?! Already spent £800 on tickets,” along with a thumbs up emoji.
But it was Lewis’ witty response that had users laughing. The star simply quoted the troll’s tweet and replied: “See you there bro x.”
