A fox found dangling from a garden fence in Surrey has been released back into the wild after being cared for by the RSPCA.
He was discovered at about 07:00 GMT on Wednesday by a resident in Smithy Lane, Lower Kingswood, after becoming caught in wire fencing.
Animal rescue officer Chloe Wilson said: “It looks as though he miscalculated the jump and got stuck in the fencing by his back legs, he was very tired from trying to get himself loose.”
The fox was taken to the Wildlife Aid Foundation in Leatherhead for a check-up and has now been released.
