Less than 24 hours after Premier Tech announced that it would end its association with ‘Cycling Academy’ – the team that will rebrand from Israel-Premier Tech in the coming weeks – rumours began to surface over future ties between the Canadian company and several other teams.
On Saturday, reliable sources indicated that Alpecin-Deceuninck had already secured a deal with Premier Tech for 2026; however, this was widely refuted by both parties when contacted.
We’ve also heard from another source in the last few hours that St Michel – Preference Home – Auber93, a women’s team that has three Canadian riders on board for 2026, would be the destination of the brand. We have no concrete information on that rumour at this moment.
