Crime drama Person of Interest is currently trending on UK streaming.

All five seasons of the US series, which began in 2011, are available on 5‘s streaming service, and it is currently sitting in the ‘Popular Now’ section.

Created by Christopher Nolan‘s brother Jonathan before Westworld, with JJ Abrams as one of the producers, the show focuses on a former CIA agent who is hired by a reclusive billionaire tech genius.

His new boss tells him that he’s created an incredibly intricate computer system that can predict acts of terror before they happen, and even identify the future culprits (think Minority Report), and he wants the agent to be the man on the ground.

The show deals with issues of ethics and trusting in technology, and was acclaimed during its run.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the show has a 92% positive score from critics and an average 80% from fans.

“For what started out as a somewhat standard procedural with a slight sci-fi premise, Person of Interest showed a remarkable ability to adapt and change over the course of its first four seasons,” wrote ScreenRant.

“Although it still incorporated the mandatory crime-of-the-week format to help get it through its 22 episode per season obligation, the series began a slow shift away from revisiting the same premise over and over again to gradually focus on a larger more serialized storyline, incorporating new, compelling characters who could change and evolve along with the overarching narrative.”

Person of Interest is available to stream now on 5.
