Get ready to return to The Further, because Insidious 6 has officially wrapped production in Australia.
“That’s a wrap on the next chapter of Insidious,” director Jacob Chase (Come Play) shared on Instagram. “I’m wildly grateful to the cast, the crew, and for the dedication and care they put into every frame. See you in August.”
The supernatural horror sequel haunts theaters on August 21, 2026 via Sony and Blumhouse.
Lin Shaye returns to star alongside Amelia Eve (“The Haunting of Bly Manor”), Brandon Perea (Nope), Maisie Richardson-Sellers (“Legends of Tomorrow”), Sam Spruell (“Fargo”), and Island Austin.
Chase co-wrote with David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring 2, Orphan). David Garbett (Evil Dead Rise) serves as director of photography.
Jason Blum, Oren Peli, James Wan, and Leigh Whannell produce, with Johnson-McGoldrick, Ryan Turek, Steven Schneider, and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones as executive producers.
Wan launched Insidious in 2011, followed by 2013’s Insidious: Chapter 2, 2015’s Insidious: Chapter 3, 2018’s Insidious: The Last Key, and 2023’s Insidious: The Red Door, which became franchise’s the highest grossing movie.
