Celtic’s win over Kilmarnock was a fairly comfortable one after Kieran Tierney put the Hoops 2-0 up in the second half.
Celtic beat Kilmarnock 4-0 after an early Johnny Kenny first half goal was eventually built on in the second half after the two teams went in at the break with the Hoops 1-0 up.
Kieran Tierney, Daizen Maeda and Arne Engels added Celtic’s other three goals as the Bhoys ran out comfortable winners in the end.
However, there was an opportunity where Celtic could have had another penalty after Anthony Ralston appeared to be fouled in the Kilmarnock penalty box.
VAR didn’t check it and the claim was waved away and former SFA referee Des Roache refused to call the Celtic defender a ‘cheat’ as accusations of diving were made on social media.

Ralston appeared to have been fouled as the Celtic right-back put pressure on the Kilmarnock defence but the match officials said no.
And former referee Des Roache, whilst agreeing with the decision not to award the penalty, says the Celtic defender did not cheat to try and win a penalty.
When asked if Celtic should have been awarded a penalty, Roache said on The Ref’s View, “No, and again, I’m not going to call him a cheat, but I didn’t think there was a lot of contact in that.
“I thought he could have made a better effort to stay on his feet and potentially continue his promising attack at that moment in time.
“I didn’t think it was a foul.”
Celtic’s next fixture after the international break
The international break is upon us and Celtic fans are already looking forward to the domestic action resuming.
When the break is over, Celtic’s first fixture is against St Mirren on the 22nd of November.
The game has a weird kick-off time of 8pm as Celtic look to keep the pressure on Hearts at the top of the table.
Whether Martin O’Neill will be in charge is another question, but Celtic fans will be hoping that the team continue their good goalscoring streak with another comfortable win at Parkhead.
