Huddersfield Giants

Former Huddersfield Giants winger Elliot Wallis has found a new club after leaving the Giants earlier this month.

Wallis spent two seasons with the West Yorkshire outfit, joining the club in 2024 and making 20 appearances for the club. Just three of those outings came this year, though, with the winger spending time with both Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers on loan.

And, despite having two more years left to run on his deal, the winger was released by mutual consent last week.

However, he hasn’t taken long to find a new club, with the 25-year-old joining London Broncos on a deal for 2026.

After missing out on promotion to Super League, the Broncos, who are now owned by Darren Lockyer, have been recruiting heavily ahead of the 2026 Championship season. Not only have the club landed Jason Demetriou as their new head coach, they have added former Australia international Reagan Campbell-Gillard and Tonga star Siliva Havili.

Papua New Guinea internationals Morea Morea and Finley Glare have also joined in recent weeks, with Demetriou expected to bring more Kumuls players over with him after coaching the country’s national team over the last two seasons.

In Wallis, though, the Broncos have added Super League experience and talent to their ranks, with the former Huddersfield man expected to play on the opposite flank to former Leeds and Hull FC winger Liam Tindall, who has re-signed with the club.

Wallis started his career with his hometown club Hull KR but made just five appearances for the Robins before moving on to join Coventry Bears.

He landed a deal with Castleford in 2022 and made 13 appearances over his two years at The Jungle. However, he impressed enough during that spell for Huddersfield Giants to give him a four-year deal ahead of the 2024 season.

As mentioned above, he spent time at Leeds this year but failed to force his way into Brad Arthur’s first-team, before ending the season back at Castleford, where he made six outings and scored one try.
