Vivell convinced Salzburg to pay £8 million to third division German club SpVgg Unterhaching when Adeyemi was only 16, a decision that proved to be an inspired move.
Salzburg sold Adeyemi for £33 million, turning a huge profit and justifying their investment in the teenage wonderkid, who went on to play in the Champions League Final for Dortmund.
With doubts ongoing about Joshua Zirkzee’s future, Adeyemi could be a natural replacement.
