Bryn sadly passed away two years ago after going missing from his home in the USA. He was just 36 years old.
He played 115 times for Saints after being recruited from Wigan by Daniel Anderson at the end of the 2006 season.
Bryn was the starting prop in Saints’ Wembley win over Hull FC in 2008 and played in three Grand Final defeats – including his last game in the red vee in 2010 – before joining Bradford Bulls.
He called time early on his rugby league career and emigrated to America.
To celebrate Bryn’s life, a Bryn Hargreaves All Stars XIII are taking on the Rugby League All Stars.
Players like Chris Smith, Lee Gilmour, Paul Loughlin, Sean Long, Danny Brough, Adrian Morley, Micky Higham, Maurie Fa’asavalu and Chris Joynt are listed in the line-up.
The match has been organised by Bryn’s mum, Maria Andrews with all proceeds being donated to RL Cares in recognition of the support the charity has provided to her and the Hargreaves family over the last few years.
The action starts at 11am with a game featuring the St Pats Masters with the main event kicking off at 1pm.
Tickets cost just £5 (£2 concessions) and can be purchased here in advance.
Get along to Clarington Park, Wigan, on Sunday, November 16 if you can and enjoy a great afternoon of rugby league in the company of some of the sport’s biggest stars.
