The special reunion charity gig will be at the Centenary Club at Jubilee Sidings, Weymouth, on Friday, November 21.

The night of nostalgia, entertainment and dancing will begin at 6.45pm and continue until late.

It will feature three bands and a solo artist.

They are: Ken Watkins, Strange Brew with Matt Black and the Boys, Package Deal – a seven piece soul band from 1967 who will be performing their last ever gig from the early 60s – and Crystal Ship.

Psychedelic rock and blues band Crystal Ship are to disband at the end of the year after decades on the stage.

The popular Weymouth-based band, who formed in the 1960s as The Conquerors, reunited in 2017.

They now perform diverse styles of music with a line-up of six members, three of which made up the original Conquerors and Crystal Ship – Alan Hodder (vocals), Phil Biggs (drums) and Mick Martin (guitar).

Tickets for the gig cost £10. They can either be collected or paid for with cash before the gig at the Centenary Club in Weymouth .

People can reserve  tickets in their name by phone on 01305 839310.

There will also be some non ticket  entry allowed  by cash on the door on the night .

Organisers say: “This will be a great night full of class entertainment, nostalgia and dancing.

“There will be a raffle on the night with a first prize of £100 cash and a second prize of £50 in cash, which will be drawn on ticket numbers  between 1 and 100, so it pays to buy or reserve your tickets early to take part in this part of the  draw.

“The raffle will also be backed up by various other prizes and donated vouchers from our sponsors.”
