Lesley has worked as an NHS nurse for 47 years, and 15 of those years as a community nurse at Salisbury District Hospital.
A friend of theirs, Laura Gowen, said: “They are two amazing ladies who deserve the credit.
“They are dedicated and hard-working, and kind and caring to all they look after. They are simply amazing people who have dedicated their working lives to look after thousands of patients, providing gold standard holistic care to each and every one of them.
“Their colleagues will miss them, and the knowledge they have and the amazing example they provide to all they have worked with.”
The pair felt the time was right to retire after 95 years between them, 35 years in Salisbury.
