The club, founded in the early 1980s, has produced many champion boxers.

Images of Fred Evans, Joe Cordina, and Andrew Selby—elite amateurs who represented Great Britain at the Olympics—adorn the gym walls as a testament to the club’s success.

Today, the gym is a hive of activity, with youngsters training hard to follow in their footsteps.

Among these young talents are Welsh Box Cup champions Mo Choudary and Gabriel Heggarty.

The club’s success is attributed to a group of dedicated coaches, who have devoted years to the sport and the community.

Coach Bill Reynolds said: “This is a fabulous achievement for our club and a great testament to the members of all ages and abilities who are training so hard day in, day out.”

On Saturday, November 22, the club will showcase their talent with a show at the Pill Millennium Centre.

Club matchmaker, Dave Exton, has arranged bouts with opposition from all over Wales as well as English opposition from as far afield as Nottingham, Devon and Taunton.

The doors open at 3pm, with boxing starting at 4pm.
