Hollyoaks’ Mercedes McQueen and Warren Fox are set to reunite next week, but not everyone is happy about them rekindling their romance. Two characters believe that Warren has returned to the dark side, but are their suspicions correct?
Since Warren made a dramatic return to the village in the lead up to the soap’s 30th anniversary, it felt like only a matter of time before he and Mercedes were drawn back together.
Next week, the pair grow closer and decide to reunite, but Goldie is suspicious about her cousin’s intentions – and she still doesn’t trust Warren after his dodgy drugs caused her son Hunter’s death.
Gemma, whose relationship with Warren recently ended after he discovered her betrayal, realises that Goldie is suspicious and decides to use this to her advantage.

“Goldie is convinced that something feels off and soon gets solid evidence when she witnesses Mercedes handing a suspicious bag to Warren,” says our insider.
“She naturally jumps to conclusions and tells Gemma that she thinks Warren is dealing drugs again. Unsurprisingly, Gemma doesn’t keep this to herself for long…”
Gemma runs to Warren and warns him that Goldie believes he is still involved in illegal activity. But while Warren is grateful for the heads up, what he doesn’t realise is that Gemma has secretly placed a tracker on his car…

Meanwhile, newcomer Gemma is determined to integrate into the community – while working with Sully and Froggy on a devious scheme.
She wants to know more about who she is living in the village with, so she gets talking to Misbah and asks her lots of questions to gather information about Hollyoaks residents.
It looks like doctor Gemma is sticking around as she has an interview for a job at Dee Valley hospital. But beforehand, she introduces herself to Diane, then later tries to build bridges with love rival Mercedes. Does Gemma have an ulterior motive?

Later in the week, the McQueens come together to take struggling Sienna out for a drink. However, with Warren back in the fold, this involves him and Goldie having to be in the same room.
John Paul tells Goldie and Warren that they need to put their differences aside, but is it possible for them to make amends?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
