A special event, Jimi and Friends, will take place on November 29 at Dimbola Museum and Galleries in Freshwater, celebrating the music of the 60s and 70s and the golden age of the 1969 and 1970 Isle of Wight Festivals.
The show will be headlined by Big Red and The Cava Boys, joined by Dick Taylor of The Pretty Things and The Rolling Stones.

Dr Brian Hinton, executive chairman at Dimbola, said: “This is going to be a groovy evening full of energy, nostalgia and incredible musicianship.
“We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Jimi Hendrix’s legacy and the Isle of Wight’s musical heritage.”
The two-part show will open with a medley of 60s and 70s classics before moving into songs that made the original Isle of Wight Festivals so iconic.
Tickets are priced at £10 and can be purchased directly from Dimbola Museum and Galleries.
Guests are encouraged to dress in period style, with bell bottoms, cheesecloth shirts, and love beads encouraged.
