There were cryptic new scenes on EastEnders on Thursday involving mystery character Jasmine.
Fans are now convinced they know who she is, believing scenes in the latest episode of the BBC soap ‘gave away’ who she was targeting. There was conflict in theories due to her appearing to target doctor Anthony Trueman.
It sparked theories that he or Zoe Slater could be Jasmine’s target. But a scene towards the end of Thursday’s visit to the show left fans sure more than ever that Jasmine is connected to Cindy Beale, amid a deadly new twist.
During Thursday’s visit to Walford, we saw Jasmine watching Anthony as he walked through the Square. She was stood near The Vic, and she old Oscar Branning she was busy with work that day when he asked if they wanted to hang out.

Later, Jasmine was working at the bar when Anthony came in for a drink with his father Patrick Trueman. She encouraged him to go up to the bar to check out the non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu, which he did.
But it was clear she was trying to get him to leave the table, as when he stepped away she began searching through the pockets of his jacket. Oscar caught her in the act as she grabbed some keys and hid them in her own pocket.
She made up an excuse that she thought she and Oscar could spend some time together at the doctors surgery, which Anthony had confirmed wad closed. As the pair headed there, Jasmine’s true intentions were soon revealed.
After Oscar left, Jasmine appeared to walk out of the room, staring at the computer screen as she did. Shortly after, she returned alone and began trying to log into Anthony’s computer.

After failing to guess the password, she looked around his desk and managed to find it. Once she was in she suddenly began looking at patient records, and appeared to search for someone in particular.
We didn’t see who she typed in, but she said: “There you are.” Fans think she might have been looking for Cindy’s records, and may be linked to her. One fan theorised: “So who is with me thinking that Jasmine is actually Cindy’s secret daughter?”
Another fan wondered: “What is the deal with Jasmine then? Stalking Anthony and then breaking into the medical centre. I think Jasmine was attempting to track down Cindy’s medical records which makes me more convinced that Jasmine is Jackie Ford’s daughter.”
