Aynsley Pears – 7

Made a good save to deny Smith in the first half. He’s made a pretty seamless return to the side.

Ryan Alebiosu – 7

Rovers’ best outlet in the first half. Didn’t see quite as much of that in the second but he was solid defensively.

Lewis Miller – 7

Put his head where it hurts to score his first Rovers goal. Typically full-blooded in the duels.

Sean McLoughlin – 6

Will feel he should’ve done better with the instant equaliser. Missed one attempt to clear it and couldn’t stab it off the line. Otherwise pretty solid.

George Pratt – 7

Didn’t put a foot wrong on his debut. Handled the physical threat and kept it simple on the ball. Didn’t look wildly out of place.

Ryan Hedges – 8

Rovers’ star man. A real outlet down the left with constant energy. Delivered a great ball for Miller to head in.

Sondre Tronstad – 8

A close runner-up behind Hedges. His experience and balance in midfield stood out from the Derby defeat.

Kristi Montgomery – 7

Quiet in the first half hour but grew into the match. Deserved the start on recent displays.

Ryoya Morishita – 8

Struggled early on after being pushed off the ball easily on a few occasions. Then really grew into the game with some neat passes and touches. Delivered a fantastic ball for Gudjohnsen to head in.

Yuki Ohashi – 7

Plugged away all night as you’d expect. A few chances at goal which were either blocked or well saved by Iversen.

Andri Gudjohnsen – 7

Didn’t see loads of the ball but took his goal very well with a run around the back and header. Link up play was tidy when he did receive it.
