Aldi customers have been warned they will only be able to buy two items per customer of a much-anticipated Christmas collection. The supermarket is bringing back it’s beloved character, Kevin the Carrot, to the middle aisle, but has warned that, as with all of the retailer’s Specialbuys, availability of some products in this range will be limited and once sold out, the items will not be restocked.

Shoppers this year are facing a buying limit to ensure fair access to the popular Aldi range. Kevin the Carrot fans will have the opportunity to snatch up Kevin, his bride-to-be Katie and their pet Caulidog, along with several other new festival characters, the Express reports.

The collection launches in stores on Thursday November 27. Shoppers can bring the festive advert to life in the comfort of their own homes with plush versions of Kevin the Carrot and his bride Katie, each available for £3.99 each in their wedding outfits.

The collection also features their three carrot children, Chantenay, Jasper, and Babyalongside, as well as the family pet Caulidog, the Express reports.

Each of these characters are all also priced individually at £3.99 and are dressed for the special occasion.

Due to high demand, purchases of Caulidog and Kevin’s children are going to be limited to two per character per customer.

Adding to the 2025 festive lineup, the Polar Bear plush, also £3.99, is set to make an appearance on the shelves, echoing its role in the advert where it tries to guide Kevin through his stag-do antics.

This toy will also be subjected to the two-item limit rule.

Kitted out in a charming blue-train conductor outfit, the latest plush addition to Aldi’s festive lineup is expected to be very popular with shoppers.

Kevin the Carrot has been such a popular range that Aldi have now expanded the collection beyond toys.

The retailer is also now introducing Kevin the Carrot pyjamas priced at £4.99, available in sizes ranging from 3/4 to 11/12 years.

The pyjamas can be found in a festive red colour featuring a Christmas-tree Kevin or there is a grey option with a Christmas-cracker motif.

It comes as Aldi has announced its 2025 Christmas and New Year opening hours, with stores operating as usual until Tuesday, December 23.

Meanwhile, on Christmas Eve, Aldi branches will close early at 6pm and will not reopen until Saturday December 27 at 8am, allowing staff to enjoy a well-earned festive break totalling 62 hours.

Stores will then operate normal hours until they shut at 6pm on Wednesday December 31 and will remain shut on New Year’s Day.

Customers are encouraged to check their local store’s specific opening times online as there may be some variations.
