I know what you’re all thinking. When will Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) finally earn that ‘Awesome Police Officer’ coffee mug? The answer might be sooner than you think…

Let’s face it. Detective Inspector Jeremy Costello (Daon Broni) isn’t exactly a good advert for the Weatherfield police force.

The only worse example I can think of is  Becky Swain (Amy Cudden), the undercover cop who escaped gangsters by faking her death.

Guess who helped her do it? With his career on the line, Costello isn’t exactly Becky’s biggest fan and has strongly hinted that she should return to Spain and ‘play dead’ – or he’ll make it happen for real, just like he did to Tia Wardley.

However, Becky’s hellbent on winning back Lisa from Carla’s clutches at any costs. So to warn Costello off, Becky made a threat against his daughter…which Kit just happened to walk in on.

We last saw Becky on the phone to a mysterious contact, offering them a well-paying job. Next thing we know, Costello doesn’t turn up to work. Has the nefarious copper has finally come a-cropper?

You don’t need to own Kit’s self-congratulatory detective mug to solve this case. For your viewing pleasure, here’s a sneak peak of Kit struck by a shocking clue into his boss’s disappearance.

Will Kit find Costello? Come on, Kit. Don’t be a mug.
