Ryan Garcia raked in some serious dough thanks to his fierce rival Devin Haney.

‘King Ry’ placed a whopping $50,000 bet on Haney beating Brian Norman Jr on Saturday night, and banked a healthy return of $93,000 after his old foe got his hand raised via unanimous decision.

“The Dream!!!” Garcia posted on social media. “Bill’s game plan never fails.

“Too slick to fast to fly. My 50k locked in. Norman is way too stiff and inexperienced. I called it a while ago.

“Congratulations, Devin, great performance. Let the stars align.”

Garcia will also be hoping to add some hardware to his collection after signing to fight Mario Barrios for the WBC’s version of the 147lbs belt on February 21.

Providing Garcia comes out of his next fight unscathed, boxing fans could be treated to the long-awaited rematch with Haney.

Garcia dropped Haney three times en route to initially being handed a majority decision win in April 2024.

However, the 27-year-old tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine in two separate tests taken before the bout.

As a result, the fight was overturned to a no-contest, while Garcia had his license suspended for one year.

Both men returned to action for the first time in May on the unprecedented Ring Magazine Times Square card.

Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh had a deal in place for the pair to meet for a second time in October.

All they needed to do was win their respective bouts.

While Haney fulfilled his side of the agreement by outpointing Jose Ramirez, Garcia was bested by Rolly Romero to spoil Alalshikh’s plans.

Despite the setback, Haney is still very keen on running it back with Garcia, especially if his nemesis can return to winning ways.

What did Devin Haney say about a potential rematch with Ryan Garcia?

“Of course [I want the rematch with Garcia], that is redemption,” Haney told Fight Hub TV post-fight.

“The same way he was rooting for me, I will be rooting for him [against Barrios].

“I think it will align, and it will be a massive fight.”
