The 11th artists in our Who Is series for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 are Rafaella and Christos from Cyprus.

Rafaella Panteli is 14 years old and has been performing since she was three years old. She has performed in various musicals such as Annie, Into the Woods, The Greatest Showman and Hairspray. She has also competed in numerous national and international dance competitions, winning first place several times.

Christos Georgiou is 12 years old. He started singing and performing at an early age, and he also plays drums. He also has trained in dance, basketball and other sports. Over the past year, he has begun composing his own music.

Rafaella and Christos were internally selected to represent Cyprus at Junior Eurovision 2025. They were selected from 70 singers who auditioned. Their entry for the contest was selected from 20 songs, which were submitted through a separate process.

The song The song that Rafaella and Christos will perform in Tbilisi is called “Away”. It was written and composed by Christopher Wortley, Hannah Brine, Peter Barringer, Greig Watts, Paul Drew, and Andy Lys.

Rafaella and Christos will perform in slot number 16 in the final of Junior Eurovision 2025.

Cyprus in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Cyprus participated in the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003, where they were represented by Theodora Rafti. She finished 14th with just 16 points. The country’s best result came in 2004, when Marios Tofi finished 8th with the song “Oniera”, scoring a total of 61 points. In 2008, Cyprus hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. On home soil, they were represented by Elena Mannouri & Charis Savva. They finished 10th with 46 points.
