The ITV soap’s David Platt actor tied the knot with now-wife Hanni at Manchester Cathedral

The new Hanni Shepherd has shared her first messages after tying the knot with Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd in spectacular style.
The actor, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, and his now-wife Hanni tied the knot in front of their friends and family on Saturday (July 26) at Manchester Cathedral.
People waited outside to get a glimpse of proceeings, with Jack arriving at the cathedral in a red Mustang looking dapper in his off-white suit, sunglasses and bow-tie. alongside his son, and best man, Reuben, who was sporting matching attire.
Hanni later made her own big arrival, with the bride looking radiant in her dazzling gown, bosting a full skirt and long-sleeved off-the-shoulder top that was detailed with lace.

Her veil was held in place in front of her face with a stunning tiara, until after they said their vows, when they emerged from the cathedral to cheers as their guests threw celebratory confetti over them.
They were surrounded by loved ones, with Jack’s mum by his side as he made his entrance, and plenty of Jack’s Weatherfield co-stars, including Colson Smith and Ben Price who acted as groomsmen on the big day.
Jack and Hanni’s wedding was orchestrated by award-winning planner Liz Taylor. The couple worked closely with TLC from engagement through to their wedding day and have praised the experience as “magical”.

“Not only have they helped plan the wedding of our dreams, they’ve also provided plenty of laughter, creativity and fun. We are so grateful to Liz and Laura. They really are a dream team to work with!”.

Now, Hanni has shared her first message alongside a string of photos from the special day, including their first kiss as husband and wife, on Instagram. “Introducing Mr & Mrs Shepherd,” she started.
“Words cannot describe how beautiful yesterday was for us – it was more than perfect. The love & energy in the room (and outside) was incredible – our hearts our truly full. Thank you so much to you all – it means the world to us.”Love is all you need x It took a whole team – a team we couldn’t be happier with, thank you so much – we are literally in awe of how talented you all are.”
And the messages soon came flooding in from Jack’s Corrie co-stars. Lucy Fallon said: “stunning. Beautiful day x.” Samia Longchambon gushed: “the most perfect wedding.” Andy Whyment shared: “So happy for you both, it was such a lovely day.”
Jane Danson replied: “The best day – the best people and full of love- congratulations and thank you for letting us all share such a brilliant day.” Georgia Taylor posted: “It was an absolute joy to be there darling.” Sally Carman-Duttine cried: “Omg.”
Tanisha Gorey commented: “The most gorgeous bride.” Cait Fitton typed: “This is beautiful !! Looks like you had the most perfect day.” Alex Bain added: “Congratulations to you both!”
