The star, who is best known for playing the role of Geraldine Spellman in 2017, died in Paris on November 8, her agent Samantha Boyd has confirmed.
Discussing the tragic news, she told industry magazine The Stage: “Lynne was always ready to try any role, to grow and learn and develop. She embraced life to the full.”
A French fundraising page has been set up in her honour to fight motor neurone disease, the condition she suffered from before her passing away this month.
It reads: “Our dear friend Lynne faced MND with her trademark wit and courage — and even in the toughest moments, she never lost her spark (or her sense of humour).

Lynne Verrall enjoyed a successful acting career in both theatre and television, starring in things like Precious Bane and Staying Alive in the 1980s and 1990s.
