Brooklyn Beckham’s heartbroken gran has made a huge plea to him. In the spirit of Christmas, Jackie Adams is ensuring her absent grandson, Brooklyn Beckham, still feels part of the family festivities despite his ongoing absence due to a deepening family feud.

Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham are reportedly spending Christmas with various extended family members, including Victoria’s mother, Jackie, while Brooklyn will be in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Nicola Peltz.

Brooklyn, who has a following of 16 million on Instagram, has been noticeably missing from key family events this year, including his father’s milestone 50th birthday celebration and recent investiture. Despite his expected absence over the festive period, his grandmother Jackie is publicly appealing for him to return home by sharing a photo of his personalised stocking hanging on the fireplace.

Victoria shared a video on Instagram on Friday showing her mother’s festive display, tastefully arranged across a stone chimney breast in her front room.

Above the hearth, identical red stockings for Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper can be seen, along with those for their numerous cousins – including Liberty, Tallulah, Finlay and Quincy, the four children of Victoria’s younger sister Louise and her ex-husband, Darren Flood.

The former Spice Girl captioned the video: “So many grandchildren!” Insiders close to the Beckham family reveal that Jackie – and David’s mum Sandra – are ‘very sad’ about the rift that has distanced them from their grandchild, especially given their previously close relationship.

Jackie was a constant presence in Brooklyn’s early years as David and Victoria were often away due to work commitments. It’s said that Brooklyn always looked forward to seeing his grandmothers at the numerous Beckham family gatherings.

“David and Victoria are coming to terms with not having Brooklyn around as much, they’re saddened but they’re accepting it,” claimed a source. “But it’s the grandmothers who are really feeling it. They adore Brooklyn; they had such a close bond with him. He loved them dearly, but now they don’t see him.”

“They’re not getting any younger, and the harsh reality is that no one knows when they’ll see Brooklyn next. It’s Jackie and Sandra who everyone feels for amidst this family divide.”

Sources claim that both Jackie and Sandra were ‘very surprised’ to learn that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola had renewed their wedding vows earlier this year without informing them.

The couple were notably absent when Victoria celebrated the launch of her Netflix docuseries with family members in October. The fashion mogul was surrounded by her closest kin at the London premiere, while Brooklyn and his wife were thousands of miles away in Beverly Hills.

Despite the family tension, his grandmother has been eager to maintain a connection with Brooklyn and even commented on one of his recent cooking tutorials. Brooklyn, whose culinary skills have often divided followers, received universal praise in October after preparing a delicious looking beef wellington. However, it was a comment from Jackie that stood out, with the proud grandmother posting: “That looks amazing Brooklyn. Lots of love.”

In a recent interview, Victoria discussed the ‘changing dynamics’ within her family amidst her feud with her son. The fashion designer appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper and spoke about her ‘close-knit family’, but did not mention Brooklyn directly.

She said: “I mean, we’re such a close family and, you know, communication is key and we always let them know that anything that they want to talk about, you know, this is a safe forum. You know, that’s really important.”
