Police have arrested 10 people on suspicion of supporting a proscribed organisation during a Palestine Action demonstration in a city.
Norfolk Police said a group of people were accused of having “held placards showing support” for the organisation during a protest on Haymarket in Norwich on Saturday.
Palestine Action was listed by the government as a proscribed terrorist organisation in July making it illegal to show any support or affiliation to it.
The 10 people who were arrested under Section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000 were taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, police said.
