During its latest sharing session, Ayaneo revealed more details of the Next II Windows handheld. The upcoming device still doesn’t have a launch date, but when it comes, it will pack a massive 115Wh battery and dual cooling fans.
Just a few days after having a sharing session for the Pocket Vert, Ayaneo has had another for its upcoming flagship Windows handheld, the Next II, that was first teased in 2022. The sharing session, like previous ones, was livestreamed on YouTube, and during the livestream, Ayaneo revealed new details about the handheld.
The Ayaneo Next II will have a 9.06-inch OLED display with a 2400 × 1504 resolution, a peak brightness of 1100 nits, and a 165Hz refresh rate. Ayaneo says the display can switch between 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz, and 165Hz. The display will also have 5280Hz PWM dimming.

As previously revealed, the Ayaneo Next II will be powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395. The processor, which has a max TDP of 85W, seems to be the only processor variant that will be offered for the Next II. However, available RAM and storage configurations have not been revealed.
The Ayaneo Next II will feature dual fans with high efficiency fins for heat dissipation and voltage regulation. The handheld will also feature a large capacity 115Wh battery which is a 53.3% increase from the 75Wh battery of the Ayaneo Kun and more than double the 55.5Whr battery capacity of the Lenovo Legion Go S (curr. available on Amazon for $579.99).
Other features of the handheld are TMR joysticks, floating 8-way D-Pad, dual circular smart touchpads like on the Kun, stereo front-facing speakers, and Hall Effect triggers with trigger locks.

The Ayaneo Next II also has four geometric rear buttons, customizable LC and RC shoulder buttons, and a magnetic levitation motor that is compatible with both linear and rotor motor modes. The handheld will also feature an Ayaneo RGB nameplate at the top, flanked on each side by air vents. It will also have Dual USB-C ports and an audio jack.
Despite the livestream lasting over two and half hours, Ayaneo didn’t reveal how much the Next II will cost and when it will be released.
