The star, 36, is said to be feeling “really upset” and struggling to cope after vile trolls piled in
Stacey Solomon has been left devastated following a fresh wave of online trolling, with sources claiming her husband Joe Swash has had to step in to “pick up the pieces” after the cruel comments took their toll.
The star, 36, is said to be feeling “really upset” and struggling to cope after vile trolls piled in, labelling the former Loose Women panellist a “diva brat”, “talentless” and “incredibly fake”.
One even branded her “insufferable” and, according to our source, the much-loved TV presenter and influencer has been blindsided by the catty remarks.

“Stacey does read the comments and she gets very upset,” says our source. “Joe is being very supportive, but it’s not always easy being famous and she doesn’t cope with that side of it.”
Despite claiming last year that she’d “made peace” with trolls and finds them “hilarious”, we’re told Stacey still “finds it hard to be criticised”. Meanwhile, hubby Joe is trying to be a beacon of support and hoping it will all “blow over”.
“She’s just got to remember that she’s done really well for herself, but she just takes it all very personally,” our source continues. “So at the minute, she’s just trying to get through it and Joe’s trying to calm the waters.”

Last month, Stacey publicly expressed concern after she was trolled for posting affiliate links – posts she said she earns a “very small commission” from – on her Instagram account.
Acknowledging she’d “upset” some of her followers, she said a couple of trolls “are really getting to me”, adding that she’d discontinue posting the links if it “really offends” people.
In June, she called out a troll who likened her to a horse, branding their comment “horrible” and adding that while she’d tried to ignore the slur, she “couldn’t get away from it”. She added, “Truly I feel bad for mean people.”
Stacey’s career has gone from strength to strength since she won over the public on the 2009 series of The X Factor, before going on to be crowned Queen of the Jungle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! the following year.

Currently her profile is higher than ever, with five series of her hit BBC makeover show, Sort Your Life Out, under her belt, and her and Joe’s fly-on-the-wall reality show, Stacey & Joe, still going strong.
Earlier this year it was reported that the Essex-based star is now worth a staggering £7.3 million, but despite her considerable success, down-to-earth Stacey is struggling with the latest backlash and – to make matters worse – has reportedly been taking it out on Joe, 43.
“Joe is very calming, but obviously at times Stacey is upset and Joe is the first one there to support her,” says our source. “He is trying to tell her it isn’t that bad, but it feels bad when you’re reading the comments. Stacey takes it very personally.”
In addition to her thriving TV career, Stacey – who is mum to Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 13, from previous relationships, as well as Rex, six, Rose, four, and Belle, two, who she shares with Joe – has also become a social media sensation thanks to her arts and crafts videos and “tap to tidy” clips.
Stacey and Mrs Hinch – real name Sophie Hinchliffe – first became pals in 2019
Her whopping 6.1 million Instagram followers have helped her secure lucrative brand deals with retail heavyweights including ASDA, In The Style and Primark. But her success has come at a price and, sadly, the star can no longer rely on her former best friend, fellow influencer Mrs Hinch, after they reportedly fell out over business rivalries.
Stacey and Mrs Hinch – real name Sophie Hinchliffe – first became pals in 2019 and Sophie, 35, was even a bridesmaid at Stacey and Joe’s wedding in July 2022. But despite social media sensation Sophie appearing on Sort Your Life Out the following year, the pair haven’t been seen together since 2023 and have stopped sharing pictures of one another online.
They initially bonded after Stacey helped the “cleanfluencer” deal with her overnight fame – including coping with trolls.

Opening up about the moment their friendship first blossomed, mum-of-three Sophie wrote online, “One day I received a message from this amazing woman, simply asking me if I’m OK.
“It’s like she just knew I wasn’t. I found myself pouring my heart out to her by message, asking how she handles the public eye with a newborn.
“And what she said to me was, ‘Right, I’m coming round for a cuppa!’ A cuppa?! I couldn’t believe it! Stacey Solomon in my house?”
She went on to describe her new pal as “just a normal person and a mum simply trying to do her best in life”, adding that talking to Stacey left her “ready to face this public eye”.
But their bond wasn’t to last and it has since been reported that as Stacey increasingly rebranded as a cleaning and tidying guru, their competing online interests caused clashes.
While our source hopes the two can reconcile – not least because Stacey could currently do with a shoulder to cry on – it’s not looking too promising.
“Stacey’s got more on her plate than to worry about Mrs Hinch at the minute,” says our source.
Perhaps it might be Sophie who extends an olive branch – just as Stacey offered such vital support to her all those years ago?
