The draw for the Scottish Cup fourth round has been made and Celtic have been handed an interesting tie.
Auchinleck Talbot are who the Hoops will play in early January as they look to try and reclaim the trophy that Aberdeen took from them in last year’s final.
Appetite for the game is already at an all-time high, with Auchinleck selling out their hospitality within seconds of it going on sale.
It will be quite the difference to the usual trips in the Scottish Premiership and on the European stage, but one that feels quite exciting as many will have never been to their ground before.

Auchinleck Talbot were founded in 1909 and currently play their football in the West of Scotland League Premier Division.
Nicknamed the ‘Bot’, the Ayrshire club play their home games at Beechwood Park, which has a capacity of 4,000.
The Scottish Cup is also a competition with history for Auchinleck having won the Scottish Junior Cup 14 times, which is a record.
Their biggest rivals are Cumnock Juniors and their best run in the Scottish Cup is to the fifth round, where they were beaten 4-0 by Hearts at Tynecastle.

Due to their league position, Auchinleck have been competing in the cup over a much longer period before being rewarded with a home tie against the Hoops.
They began in the first round with a 2-1 victory over biggest rivals Cumnock before beating Gretna 2008.
It seems as if they saved their best performance for the third round, taking on Scottish League Two strugglers Dumbarton and hammering them 3-0 away from home.

The game will be played on the weekend of the 17/18 January, 2026.
There is a chance the game could be moved for TV purposes and a final confirmed date will be released in due course.
