Latest on Matheus Cunha ahead of Manchester United’s next fixture.
Manchester United have a quick turnaround ahead of the team’s next game, playing on Thursday night at home to West Ham.
United are hoping for positive injury news after Matheus Cunha and Harry Maguire were both ruled out of the past two games.
This is in addition to Benjamin Sesko, who was injured against Tottenham before the international break.

Matheus Cunha suffered a head injury in training two days ahead of Manchester United’s match with Everton.
United have taken every precaution with Cunha, leaving him out of the matchday squad to fully recover and comply with any concussion protocol.
And now there is good news ahead of the fixture with West Ham.
Fabrizio Romano reports: “Matheus Cunha, back in training and available for Man United after recent injury.”
Cunha will be back under consideration for selection for United against the Hammers later this week.

Cunha boost, no guarantee to start
Matheus Cunha’s return is a major boost for Manchester United. He was badly missed in the defeat to Everton at Old Trafford a week ago.
United have not scored in open play once over the past two games, with both goals against Crystal Palace coming from set pieces.
Cunha is a player who will add lots of invention and work rate to United’s attack – but there is no guarantee he will start.
Mason Mount and Joshua Zirkzee will both be pushing to retain their places after their match-winning roles against Palace, and you can argue that they deserve to.
Cunha will have extra importance once Bryan Mbeumo leaves for the African Cup of Nations, and so there is no immediate pressure to rush him into a starting spot.
