Two Leicester Tigers players were in international action this weekend.

Ollie Chessum wasn’t the only Tiger enjoying victory in Australia, as Katherine Baverstock made her debut for Wales in a victorious effort against the Wallaroos.

The prop came on with ten minutes to go, helping her side repel a late home surge and record a first victory of 2025, winning 12 – 21 in Brisbane.

In the other international action of the weekend, Micke Günter started at hooker for the Springboks in their defeat to a New Zealand XV.

South Africa lost 26 – 34 to the Black Ferns side in Cape Town, after the visitors lead by 12 – 34 at the break.
