Joe should have been forgiven his tax debt given all he did to help the military and how his win over Schmeling was seen as a victory for democracy over fascist Nazi Germany.
It should have been done when he was alive, though. It does little good now.

Token gesture meant to curry favor. Louis has been dead for decades and he did in fact commit the offenses in question.

Well if he pardoned a known crook like the president of Honduras who actually smuggled drugs to the u.s he’ll pardon anybody
