Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing have become parents! The Made in Chelsea stars have welcomed their first child into the world and joyfully shared their happy news with their thousands of followers today.
Jamie, 36, and Sophie, 31, kept fans up to date throughout her pregnancy and they even moved into a stunning £12million home ahead of the baby’s arrival. They announced they were expecting back in June in a sweet Instagram post.
Now, they have confirmed their baby boy has arrived and shared the adorable name they have chosen. New mum Sophie was glowing in pictures of her cuddling their newborn in bed after giving birth, as proud dad Jamie beamed by her side. “Ziggy, you have our whole hearts,” Jamie shared on Instagram.

The pair were quickly flooded with messages of congratulations from fans and their famous pals. Rylan said: “Congrats you two xxx” and Alex Jones wrote: “Hooray!!! Let the adventures begin.”
Stacey Solomon, Rochelle Humes and Tiffany Watson sent sweet congratulatory messages, while This Morning’s Kate Lawler said: “Congratulations guys! Ziggy is a very cool name” and Jessie J supportively added: “You did it mama.”
Jamie and Sophie saw their relationship evolve from reality TV beginnings to a media partnership, encompassing a popular podcast and a shared production company.
Their journey began on Made in Chelsea, where the public was able to watch their love blossom and follow along with their story. After dating for several years, Jamie got down on one knee at the Rosewood London hotel in December 2021, where he and Sophie shared their first ever date, and popped the question.

Jamie and Sophie wed in a civil ceremony in London in April 2023 with close friends and family, before having a huge weekend celebration in Marbella the following month.
Ahead of their wedding, the couple launched their podcast, NearlyWeds, to document the lead up to their big day. The podcast, later rebranded as NewlyWeds, has been a huge hit with the fans.
Since their pregnancy news, they rebranded again to NearlyParents, where they shared sweet updates with fans.
The pair recorded the last episode of the podcast last week, with Sophie breaking down in tears as they were surprised with a goodbye party as she went on maternity leave.
“Now we get the party started,” Jamie shouted as the crowd clapped before dancing away.
