Brad Singleton has announced that he will hold a ‘no filter’ Q&A session to give fans an insight into the inside story of the Salford Red Devils 2025 season.
Salford were liquidated last week, after a fifth meeting with HMRC resulted in the club finally being given their marching orders.
In what is a sad end to the club’s 152-year history, the silver lining is that the Red Devils can finally be free from their owners, who took over in February of this year, and caused nothing but problems for the club.
From pure lack of communication, to unpaid wages, to a vast number of broken promises, the Salford owners, Sire Kailahi and Curtiz Brown, will now no longer be in charge, and with a number of consortiums wanting to create a phoenix club, there is distinct amount of hope around the fanbase.
Singleton, who now turns out for Castleford Tigers, and has done since March, was one of the first players to exit the club, as rumours started to surface around delayed payments of player and staff wages.
The former Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors prop joined the likes of Marc Sneyd and Tim Lafai in leaving the club early doors, and he went on to make 21 appearances in Amber and Black this season.
He has been granted a testimonial for 2026, with his first event dedicated to letting the fans into what really went on at the club across the year.
Former CEO and a leader of a potential consortium, Chris Irwin, will be in attendance, as will members of the Red Devils’ initial 2025 playing group.
Hosted by former Super League prop, Kyle Amor, Singleton describes it as an “honest, no-holds-barred Q&A” that he hopes will give clarity to Salford fans who may not have known the true ins and outs of what was happening at the club during the season.
