Championship side North Wales Crusaders have continued their signing spree ahead of 2026, and have brought in former Bradford Bulls man, Brad England.
England came onto the scene with Gloucestershire All Golds in 2015, making seven appearances for the club that year. He also featured for Featherstone Rovers in the same season.
He moved to Doncaster for seasons 2017-2019, and represented the South Yorkshire side 43 times, before moving to the Bulls in 2021.
The 31-year-old became a regular in the Odsal side, playing 47 times for the club across three years.
A switch back to Featherstone came at the start of 2024, before he would join Keighley Cougars for the latter part of the season and then into 2025.
Keighley released a brief statement confirming England’s departure, saying:
“The club can confirm Brad England has requested a release from his contract. We are deeply disappointed with the timing of this request.”
“The club will now work hard to bring in a quality replacement in due course.”
“We would like to thank Brad for his efforts in a Cougars shirt.”

Championship side announce signing of former Bradford Bulls man
England will join the Crusaders, who will be coached by former Hunslet boss, Dean Muir, in 2026.
They recently announced the signings of Warrington duo Jake Nottingham and Junior Westwood, as well as former Super League high-flyer Greg Eden.
The signings come in the midst of news that current players are reportedly refusing to train due to unpaid player wages. The club have even gone as far as turning off comments on social media, as to prevent any backlash coming to the club.
