Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson have arrived at St James’s Palace for their youngest grandchild’s christening today. Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have invited friends and family to the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace for the christening of their daughter, Athena Mapelli Mozzi.Â
Photographers have captured some of the arrivals, though the disgraced former couple are believed to have ducked down in the back of their chaffeur-driven car to avoid being photographed. One picture shows a woman sitting in the backseat of a car, which is understood to be Lisa, Fergie’s assistant. Another showed singer James Blunt arriving on foot.
Separate images show a delivery of ‘handmade artisan food’ arriving in boxes, presumably for the spread after the christening.
Beatrice will be hoping that her parents did not overshadow the family event today.
Her daughter Athena was born prematurely in January, and is a younger sister to Sienna, four, and Edo’s son from a previous relationship, Christopher Wolf (Wolfie), nine.
The family of five were spotted celebrating the Lionesses’ Euro 2025 win in July, where they joined thousands of fans for the victory parade in London on the Mall.
