RAI has announced more details of its coverage of the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 on Saturday night.
The Italian broadcaster has announced more details of its coverage of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 which will air live on Rai 2 on December 13. Rai will once again air a preview show in the build up to the final live from Turin, starting at 16:40 CET.
Mario Acampa will be guiding viewers through the final and will be joined by guests throughout the show. Guests include:
Luca Tommassini – Dancer and Choreographer who has worked with Kylie Minogue, Whitney Houston and others, and was the Creative Director for San Marino at Eurovision 2021 and Albania at Junior Eurovision 2021.
Iris Di Domenico – Influencer and Creator
Vincenzo De Lucia – Actor and impressionist
During the build-up show dance troupe Big Bang Crew will perform, while street artists ENCS18 will create a mural live during the show taking over the studio. In addition, the final will be aired on repeat on Rai Gulp at 20:00 CET.
Leonardo Giovannangeli is an 11-year-old singer from Rome who rose to fame in 2024 through his participation in The Voice Kids Italia, where he reached the final. In 2023, he also competed in Sanremo Junior, a music competition for solo singers aged 6 to 15. Beyond music, Leonardo is passionate about singing, dancing (inspired by his greatest idol Michael Jackson), acting, and wrestling.
The song that Leonardo will perform in Tbilisi is called “Rockstar”. It was written and composed by Claudia Zanecchia and Giancarlo Prandelli. Leonardo will perform in slot number 12 in the final of Junior Eurovision 2025.

Italy debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2014. Their first and only win to date was on their debut when Vincenzo Cantiello came in 1st place with 159 points with his song “Tu primo grande amore”. Their worst result was in 2015, when twins Chiara & Martina came 16th with 34 points with their song “Viva”. Since their debut, Italy has participated in every contest except for 2020.
