Ben Healy (EF Education-EasyPost) may earn his living via the salary paid to him by his team, but the Irish rider also took home a nice sum of prize money from this year’s Tour de France.

Overall winner, Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG), topped the rider prize money list, winning €627,730. And his team also toppped the teams’ prize money list, claiming €708,780 between the eight riders.

Israel-Premier Tech, which endured an anonymous three weeks at the Tour de France, won the least amont of prize money of all of the 23 teams in the race. Its riders took home just €15,940 between them.

You can see the full team and individual rider prize money rankings below.

Ireland’s Healy won the €20,000 super combative award, claimed victory on stage 6 to Vire Normandie, held the yellow jersey for two days and was 9th overall; winning €62,350. The Irishman’s winnings represented the vast majority of the total €79,530 his team won through the three weeks.

Vingegaard was 2nd with €257,420 compared with the €627,730 claimed by Pogačar. Florian Lipowitz (Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe) was 3rd with €133,830.

And the winner of the overall gets €20,000. The top three teams overall get €50,000, €30,000 and €20,000. And being the best team on one stage nets €2,800.
