Despite playing the role of Arya Stark in the iconic Game of Thrones series, actress Maisie Williams revealed that, despite getting such an opportunity at such a young age, she felt lost. In an interview with The Sunday Times, the actress revealed how she needed to find herself while growing up parallel to the show’s run as her on-screen character, saying:
I was so lost for so long, and I knew that I was, and when I couldn’t pin down what I felt my identity was within that, it brought me a lot of discomfort,” Williams told the outlet. “Now I feel a lot more comfortable in my own skin. It’s hard to even put myself back there and talk about how tough it was just because I think it’s done.
Thus, since the end of the series five years ago, the actress seems to be in the process of finding her footing in the film industry post-GoT fame. And with her recent post on her IG, it seems like she’s truly coming to terms with herself after years of mist and fog making her question herself.

And now, with the shadow of the character behind her, the actress has truly started to explore herself.
And recently, that exploration led her to Italy, where she recently posted pictures of the trip on IG (@maisie_williams), where she was seen in her birthday suit taking a dip in a lake.
Therefore, it’s no wonder there has been social media buzz around this latest post from her. While on one hand, people are happy for the actress truly opening herself up without any constrictions, others are finding the video a little much for them.

Despite losing her direction while playing Arya in the series, fans wonder whether Williams is down for another rodeo in the franchise as her iconic character if the chance presents itself.
And in an interview with People, the actress revealed that if the story is compelling and the theme is different from what she did before, becoming Arya Stark is in the cards for her. She said:
So I’m still kind of piecing together what I think it should be, what I think would make people happy, and what I think would be fulfilling as well, as an actor, to do some kind of transition. We can’t just do the same thing that we did — it’s got to be new. But what are the parts that we would want to take with us and what are the parts that we would do differently? So I think I’m still kind of discovering that.
What makes this even more likely is the fact that there are several spin-off projects that author George R.R. Martin is involved with in the franchise, which gives a chance to an Arya Stark Spin-Off series a viable option.
