Thousands in art sold at Young Gallery Members’ Exhibition

The Young Gallery Members’ Exhibition, above Salisbury Library, has sold an array of paintings and ceramics at the “Affordable Fine Art” event.

Running until the end of December, the show serves as a platform for established local artists to display their work and for the public to purchase pieces for Christmas.

Supporters’ chair Tim Chadsey said: “We’ve made a special effort this year to ensure we have a range of prices for the artworks, from large paintings priced at thousands of pounds, to smaller works priced in the hundreds, down to handmade ceramics and framed photographs at less than £50.”

The exhibition is open in library hours until December 27 in Gallery 3 on the first floor of Salisbury Library.
