A cyclist who was struck in a suspected hit-and-run collision in Preston is in a critical condition.
The man was found unresponsive in North Road by a member of the public, who flagged down an ambulance at about 04:50 GMT, Lancashire Police said.
Officers later found a black Ford Focus with “damage consistent with having been involved in a collision”.
A 24-year-old man from Fulwood has since been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving with excess alcohol and driving with excess drugs.
