A new theory has left fans of Emmerdale and Coronation Street predicting carnage, after hints of what’s ahead in the Corriedale crossover.
Next month both soaps will collide, with characters from both shows featuring in a special episode. Details on what leads to the crossover are being kept under wraps, but a trailer has confirmed explosive scenes will leave lives on the line.
A devastating car pile-up sees worlds collide, with fiery scenes on the way. Ahead of a full cast list being revealed, bosses did confirm a little while ago that Corrie’s Lisa Swain, played by Vicky Myers, and Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle, played by Danny Miller, would both be in scenes.
It left fans convinced they would be sharing scenes together and could team up, amid both characters being involved with villains on their own soap. Aaron’s killer husband John Sugden remains on the run, while his partner Robert Sugden’s own villainous husband, Kev, Townsend, is also AWOL.

As for Lisa, she is yet to realise her manipulative ex-wife Becky Swain is trying to orchestrate a reunion for them, wanting to flee with her and daughter Betsy. Having torn apart Lisa’s relationship with Carla Connor, she’s also left lives in danger and it’s clear she’s a baddie.
Now, fans are wondering if there’s a link between villains John and Becky and that they might know each other. The theory suggests that the pair knew each other in the army, and that they may be about to team up.
Amid fears for Carla and Robert’s safety, for separate reasons, fans wonder if John and Becky will join forces to target them, leading to Aaron and Lisa also teaming up to locate their partners. A viewer shared on social media: “Becky in Corrie and John are connected from the army.
Corrie’s Lisa Swain, played by Vicky Myers, and Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle, played by Danny Miller, are both in the crossover
“Robert and Carla are held up together somewhere hence Lisa and Aaron teaming up to find them.” Fans began circulating the theory, with some considering it and others thinking the fan was onto something.
Another fan shared the theory, saying: “Carla and Robert both going missing around the same time, Lisa and Aaron meet. Sorry but this can’t just be a coincidence, Becky and John know each other and have them locked away together.”
A further theory echoed this, saying: “Corriedale theory – John Sugden and Becky know each other!” One fan posted: “I’m calling it now that Becky and John Sugden are working together and Carla and Robert are being held by John somewhere together and Lisa and Aaron go to rescue them in the Corriedale episode.”
