Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has aired an unexpected twist in the ongoing story between Donny Clark and corrupt police officer Connor ‘Sully’ Sullivan. Viewers know that Donny suffered a horrific attack at the hands of Sully while he was working undercover in a gang.
Dodger was also attacked, by gang member Griff, who Donny later killed, with Warren helping him to cover up the crime.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Donny, his daughter Gemma has been working alongside Sully and Froggy to destroy his life.
On Monday’s episode, Warren secretly accepted an offer from Gemma to join her in her latest robbery scheme in order to raise the money to pay off Mercedes blackmailer (who they don’t know is Gemma).
Gemma’s plan was to intercept a heist that was taking place and steal from the robbers.

Sully then told Donny he’d gotten a tip off about a robbery taking place and the two went to the scene, with Donny soon realising Sully was in cahoots with one of the criminals.
Donny was then given money by Sully, which he tried to reject, before being shown that the whole thing had been caught on CCTV.
In tonight’s episode, Donny hid the money in the kitchen before Misbah came downstairs in high spirits, after the two spent the night together.
Meanwhile, Gemma visited Froggy who was relishing in Donny’s continued downfall. However Gemma seemed to feel bad that she was causing her dad so much pain.
Gemma told Froggy that living with Donny had shown her a side of Donny that she likes and she’s not feeling as good about her revenge as she thought she would.

But Froggy reminded her that Donny had hurt both of them and he couldn’t be forgiven.
Back at home, as the family were gathered together, Vicky stumbled upon the money Donny had hid in the kitchen.
Thinking on her feet, Gemma covered for Donny, saying he’d won at the races. Donny went along with Gemma’s lie and offered to take the family out for a celebratory lunch.
At lunch the family were enjoying themselves until Sully appeared. After he attempted to goad Donny by addressing Misbah, Donny lost his cool and demanded Sully leave.
When they got back home, Misbah asked Donny for answers about what was going on between him and Sully.
When he wouldn’t open up, Misbah said she was done with his excuses and lies and the cycle they were trapped in had to end. Misbah added that the night before she had felt wanted but now she just feels used and disrespected.

This just made Donny angry and he snapped at her saying he has needs which he expects her to meet, before storming off.
Later, Gemma, Vicky, and Dillon tried to convince her to give Donny another chance, saying that the pair had something special that was worth saving.
A desperate Donny was then seen in his car, motioning over a prostitute who recognised him and showing her he was more than able to pay.
But before they could get to business, Sully appeared at the window and arrested Donny. Will Misbah ever forgive him now?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
