Susanna Reid said she was “going to miss” one of her Good Morning Britain colleagues in her latest Instagram story.
It is unclear whether the GMB host was confirming her co-star’s permanent departure or simply saying goodbye while taking a break for the Christmas holidays.
Sharing a picture from behind the scenes at GMB, Susanna wrote, “My amazing makeup artist and friend @heatherkingmakeup, going to miss you!”
On Wednesday’s instalment of GMB, Susanna also confirmed she was taking a break from the ITV programme.
“Good Morning Britain, back tomorrow from six. I’m saying goodbye for Christmas! I will see you next year. Now it’s time to join Lorraine. Happy Christmas,” Susanna told viewers at the end of the show.

Susanna’s temporary departure from the programme follows Andrew Pierce’s announcement that he is leaving the ITV breakfast show after 10 years.
The GB News presenter regularly features on the ITV programme alongside Kevin Maguire to offer his perspective on various current affairs.
Susanna also bid farewell to Kevin, telling him it was “the end of an era”. She said, “It is the end of an era because the incredible chemistry between Andrew and Kevin, we are putting on hold for now.
“Of course, we move over to a longer programme, which means Andrew, we clash with your busy schedule.”

Kevin told the host, “This is my last time on Good Morning Britain. We’ve been doing it, do you know Susanna, for a decade. Kevin and I were doing this with you on the BBC many years ago.
“However, Maguire and I continue our double act because we have our own podcast.”
Kevin went on to reflect on all of the topics they had discussed and debates they’d had over the years, to which Andrew remarked: “Well, it’s been fantastic, it’s been great. Thank you for having me. I’ll say goodbye to all the viewers. I’ve had an amazing response.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
