Auditions have taken place in Warsaw today to determine the acts that will compete to represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.

Up to twenty acts have taken part in auditions today in the Polish capital, for the Polish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The acts that participated in the auditions process were chosen from an open call for submissions, from which committee members voted for their favourites.

The twenty highest scoring acts were then invited to Warsaw to perform live for a jury. Some of the artists may be exempt from live auditions if the jury determines that they have sufficient vocal and stage experience. A total of 10 artists will have been chosen to compete in the live final. TVP will also have selected two reserve entries and between 1-3 wildcards.

The Polish national final for Eurovision 2026 will take place on February 14. Public voting alone will decide the winner. In the case of a tie or a technical fault, a back-up jury decides the winner. The winner will represent Poland in Vienna.

Justyna Steczkowska represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with “Gaja”. Poland finished 14th in the final scoring 156 points. Poland ranked 7th in the public vote, with 139 points and 12 points from the Irish and Icelandic public.

Poland debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 alongside a number of other Eastern European countries. Their debut year saw their best result to date in the contest, as Edyta Górniak finished in 2nd place with her song “To nie ja!”. Following this, Poland failed to repeat this initial success, only managing to achieve a top 10 finish on two other occasions since their debut. Since their return in 2014, they have been considerably more successful in the contest, having qualified for the final 7 times out of 11 attempts.
