Coronation Street’s Gareth Pierce, who plays Todd Grimshaw, has left fans gobsmacked with his unexpected Hollywood connections.
The 44 year old actor has been at the forefront of the soap recently, navigating a harrowing domestic abuse storyline involving his character Todd and sinister on-screen partner Theo Silverton, portrayed by James Cartwright.
Off the cobbles, Gareth has been spending quality time with old friends, and a recent social media post featuring a star-studded reunion has sent fans into a frenzy.
Gareth posted a series of photos alongside mates Matt Di Angelo, Con O’Neill, and Kellie Shirley.
Captioning the post, he wrote: “Snuck in a lunch with these beauts yesterday. We finished each other’s sentences, took the p**s and laughed like drains. Like we always do – no matter if it’s a year, five or ten. @oneill.con @mattdiangelo @kelshirl” followed by a heart emoji, reports the Daily Star.
Fans were taken aback by Gareth’s high-profile gathering, particularly due to Con O’Neill’s recent role as Chief Mackenzie Bock in The Batman film, where he starred alongside big names such as Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, and Colin Farrell.

Her other credits include portraying Connie in Call the Midwife from 2018 to 2019, alongside appearances in In the Long Run and Death In Paradise – amongst others.
