In a much-publicised stunt, Chalamet appeared on a fake marketing call with A24’s executives, where he pitched ever-more ridiculous ways to publicise Marty Supreme, from raining ping-pong balls down on pedestrians to painting the Statue of Liberty orange. A24 shot most of them down, but the blimp did happen — while the video itself went viral, not just because of the increasing silliness of the ideas, but because of Chalamet’s commitment to self-parody.
