Kate Scott wowed boxing fans during Neflix’s coverage of Jake Paul’s highly-anticipated boxing bout with Anthony Joshua.

The 44-year-old British TV host, known for her work on CBS Sports in America, was lead presenter on the big red streaming service’s broadcast at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, joined by a trio of legends in Lennox Lewis, Andre Ward and Laila Ali.

And while her top-class punditry had fans speaking and questioning her pan-continental accent, her choice of outfit also turned the heads of many viewers, opting for a low-cut black corset, which complimented her luscious golden locks.

Taking to social media to give their assessment of Scott’s get-up, one wrote: “Kate Abdo…top tier,” while another added: “Kate Abdo lead presenter, that’s my girl.”

On the flip side, however, others couldn’t help but pick problem with the presenter for how she was delivering her words.

Scott is a regular on CBS Sports’ Champions League coverage alongside Thierry Henry, Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher, spending a lot of time on American soil as a result.

And despite being born and raised in Manchester, Scott appeared to be speaking with a tinge of Stateside twang during the coverage of Paul vs Joshua, with social media users quick to pick up.

One social media user wrote: “Kate Scott’s weird American twang accent is sending me,” while a second added: “Kate Scott putting on an American accent??”

A third, meanwhile, wrote: “What’s this half American half British accent Kate Scott is doing?” while a fourth said: “It’s so funny hearing Kate Scott slap on her American twang to her accent so the Americans understand her.”

A fifth asked: “What’s with Kate Scott’s accent??? Totally different to when she’s presenting CL games. Weird.”

It comes as Paul vs Joshua is set to take place in the early hours of Saturday morning (UK time). The ‘Problem Child’ has racked up an impressive record of 12-1 since making his professional debut in January 2020.

To date, he has wins over the likes of Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Mike Tyson. His only loss came at the hands of Tommy Fury via split-decision in February 2023.

However, the YouTuber-turned-scrapper will know all too well of the task that awaits him in Miami. A two-time heavyweight champion of the world, AJ heads into the fight with a record of 28-4 made up of 24 knockouts.

He is also eager to find his way back into the win column, given his last outing saw him suffer a devastating fifth-round knockout loss to Daniel Dubois last September.
