Hyacinth House in Wimborne welcomed residents, staff, relatives and the local community to its seasonal event, featuring stalls with homemade jams and chutneys, jewellery, crafts, skincare and cards.

General manager Kamila Gagala said: “At Hyacinth House, we are dedicated to making sure that the home is a hub of the local community and this event, along with everyone’s hard work, has definitely paid off.

“I am so proud of everyone involved, it was a fantastic team effort.”

The fayre raised funds for Lewis Manning Hospice Charity and was supported by a range of stallholders and visitors.

Hyacinth House is part of Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.

It offers residential care for 32 residents, from respite care to long term stays.

The team extended their thanks to everyone who helped make the day a success, including those who donated raffle prizes, ran stalls or attended in support.

Staff described the fayre as having a “fantastic atmosphere” and were delighted that it could raise money for a good cause.
